But as we step further into 2026, basing a child’s entire professional journey on a single set of board exam results is outdated and, frankly, risky. A report card is a snapshot of what was learned , not a roadmap for who your child is . The Marks Trap vs. The Aptitude Advantage Marks are an important metric of academic achievement, but they don't always reveal natural aptitude —the innate, effortless way a child processes information.
